URBN Urban Outfitters, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Department Manager for our West Des Moines, IA store. The role focuses on service, selling, and business operations to create an engaging store environment and foster community through brand education.

You will support leadership, stylists, and team members to deliver extraordinary service, lead by example, and drive brand initiatives while coordinating events and recognition programs.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of retail leadership experience.
• Experience being a team player.
• Ability to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the store including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Eagerness to learn and grow within the organization.
• Anthro brand fan.

Responsibilities

• Customer Experience: Acts as a brand representative to promote a positive and inclusive environment in the store, delivering extraordinary service to customers.
• Leadership + Team Management: Leads the sales floor and guides the team to prioritize the customer experience and store objectives while participating in recruiting and onboarding.
• Visual + Business Operations: Supports opening/closing procedures, restocking, and omni fulfillment processes while upholding store standards.
• Communication + Relationships: Fosters an inclusive work environment, communicates store priorities, and shares feedback with leadership.
