McKeever’s Price Chopper in the Kansas City area is seeking an Assistant Deli Manager to lead the deli team, ensure high food quality, and maintain safety standards. This role supports the Deli Manager and contributes to customer satisfaction with friendly service.

You will train staff, manage daily deli operations, supervise inventory, and assist in merchandising and promotions while handling customer concerns promptly.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old or older
• Previous experience in food service, deli, or kitchen environment preferred
• Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus
• Strong knowledge of food safety and handling procedures
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting

Responsabilités

• Assist in supervising deli staff and daily operations
• Prepare and serve hot and cold deli foods
• Monitor inventory, rotation, and stock orders
• Maintain food safety, cleanliness, and presentation standards
• Train and coach deli associates on prep, equipment use, and service
• Assist in merchandising deli displays and promotions
• Resolve customer concerns professionally and promptly
• Fill in for the Deli Manager during absences or peak times
