Job summary

Homeland Stores is seeking an Experienced Assistant Deli Combo Manager for our Blackwell location. This part-time role supports the Bakery/Deli department to maximize sales, manage staff scheduling, and ensure top-notch customer service in a fast-paced environment.

You will help train and supervise department personnel, coordinate ordering, merchandising, and daily operations, while maintaining food safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Basic mathematics ability and ability to count.
• Strong reading and writing ability in English.
• Prior Bakery/Deli or supervisory experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in achieving maximum sales and profit for Bakery/Deli while maintaining store conditions.
• Assist in hiring, firing, discipline, promotion and evaluation within Bakery/Deli staff.
• Assist in orienting and training new Bakery/Deli employees and scheduling weekly labor.
