Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking an Assistant Dean for Undergraduate Medical Education at the UMass Chan Lahey Regional Medical School campus in Burlington, MA. The role leads the UME curriculum across four years, ensuring LCME standards, coordinating with interprofessional education, and maintaining clinical practice at Lahey Clinic.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required; Master's in Education or comparable degree strongly preferred.
• 4 years of leadership in undergraduate medical education or equivalent.
• Board certification in one or more specialties; eligible for MA license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee curriculum development, implementation and assessment for the UME portfolio at the regional campus.
• Guide Curricular and Course Directors of Early Clinical Learning, Explorations, Horizons, and Leadership Pathway.
• Collaborate with Student Affairs, Interprofessional Education, Leadership and Faculty Development, and Simulation to integrate curricula.
• Lead regional campus curriculum committees and alignment with LCME standards.
• Recruit and prepare faculty and supervise staff supporting education programs.
