Job summary

Reading Area Community College seeks an Assistant Dean of Student Affairs to provide leadership over the student conduct process, with emphasis on education, equity, and student success. Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in higher education or related field.
• Minimum of three years experience in Student Affairs in a higher education setting.
• Minimum of one year working with student conduct issues.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Community College experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Ellucian Colleague or other administrative software a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the student conduct process from intake through resolution, connecting students to support services.
• Maintain confidential records in compliance with FERPA and other regulations.
• Develop workshops on academic integrity, conflict resolution, and classroom behavior.
• Coordinate CARE team bi-weekly meetings and oversee related programs.
• Supervise the Director of Student Life and assess programs for student engagement and retention.

Education

Master’s Degree in higher education or related field

Experience in Student Affairs (3+ years)

Experience with student conduct issues (1+ year)

Supervisory experience (preferred)

Community college experience (preferred)

Ellucian Colleague or similar software knowledge (plus)
