Job summary

Harvard College seeks an Assistant Dean for Civic Engagement and Service to oversee a broad range of civic engagement programs and professional pathways to public service for Harvard College students. The role requires coordinating across the Center, College leadership, and external partners to advance strategic initiatives and secure resources.

Reporting to the Faculty Director, the assistant dean will lead fundraising, program development, and staff supervision, and will represent Harvard

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressively senior leadership in a non-profit, educational, or public-serving organization.
• Successful record of program development, implementation, and assessment.
• Knowledge of civic engagement, scholarship, and service in higher education.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning, Development, and Assessment of Initiatives.
• Coordination and Representation across programs and external partners.
• Communication and Outreach to elevate public service and maintain a dynamic web presence.
• Fundraising, Grant-Seeking, and Financial Management.
