Job summary

Urban Egg is seeking an Assistant Culinary Manager to support daily kitchen operations, menu development, and high-quality service at our Coppell, TX location. You will partner with the Culinary Manager to lead a motivated team, ensure consistency in presentation, and uphold food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of culinary or kitchen management experience.
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge, skill and coordination with using kitchen utensils and equipment.
• Ability to follow recipes and replicate food production procedures.
• Ensure kitchen team members adhere to set standards, procedures, and sanitation requirements.
• Ability to manage kitchen inventory and ensure supplies are fresh and of high quality.
• Daytime and weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Culinary Manager in overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow
• Support menu planning, development, and execution in collaboration with the culinary team
• Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback
• Maintain high standards of food quality, safety, and sanitation in compliance with health regulations
• Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food costs to optimize profitability
• Ensure consistency in food presentation and taste across all dishes
• Assist in implementing new culinary initiatives and promotional events
