Transforming Age is seeking an Assistant Director of Culinary Services at AlmaVia of San Rafael. This role blends culinary artistry with leadership to ensure high-quality dining experiences and guest satisfaction in a senior living setting.

The incumbent supports the Culinary Director, assists with budgets, builds meaningful resident connections, and collaborates with purveyors to elevate offerings while aligning with the organization’s mission and values.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Culinary degree from an accredited school is preferred.
• Minimum of two years experience as Executive Chef, including administration and management of food service programs.
• Senior living community experience is preferred.
• Experience with menu development and contemporary culinary trends.
• Knowledge of local Health Department, OSHA, state regulations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products.
• Strong communication skills (oral and written) in English; Spanish preferred.
• Must hold current sanitation certification/license.

Responsabilidades

• Supports the Culinary Director in all front and back of house operations.
• Assists with development and management of budgets with precision.
• Builds meaningful connections with residents and seeks feedback to improve offerings.
• Collaborates with trusted purveyors to source premium ingredients.
• Aligns culinary services with mission, vision and values; drives improvement.
• Champions Transforming Age's Mission, Vision and Values in all areas of responsibility.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
