Role Overview: The Assistant Critical Operations Manager supports the Critical Operations team by maintaining data center systems, implementing safety and operational programs, managing budgets, and overseeing project execution. This role involves technical expertise in data center systems, vendor management, and ensuring operational efficiency and safety.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading safety culture initiatives across data centers.
• Serving as a subject matter expert for electrical, mechanical, and fire safety systems.
• Monitoring and maintaining data center operations and responding to abnormal conditions.
• Implementing efficiency projects and maintaining PUE standards.
• Managing vendor relationships, budgets, and project scopes.
• Developing detailed technical procedures and ensuring compliance and safety standards.
• Managing audits and system systems like CMS, EPMS, and BMS.
• Providing exceptional customer service and being available for emergency responses.

Additional Details:

• Travel: None or less than 5%
• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Must pass comprehensive background screening

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 4-5 years' experience in data center or mission-critical operations
• Knowledge of data center and telecommunications industries
• Experience with Microsoft Office and database software
• 3-5 years' experience in preventative maintenance and vendor management
• Expertise in electrical and mechanical systems used in data centers
• Knowledge of NFPA standards and building codes related to fire safety
• Ability to work under stress, handle multiple tasks, and lift up to 25 pounds
• Willingness to work outside normal hours, including weekends and holidays
