Job Description Summary

This position provides high‑level logistical and operational support for Skilled Trades as well as Computer training programs. The role collaborates with Coordinator(s) and instructors to develop and maintain course offerings, course outlines, inventories, and program assessments. The position orients, advises, and informs students and community members on course options, registration processes, and admissions requirements. The employee also resolves class and instructor needs, including issues related to documentation, scheduling, and student support.

Duties

  1. Utilizes Colleague and other public facing systems to support program management, reporting, analytics, and information sharing.
  2. Documents and maintains Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for assigned programs, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and continuous process improvement.
  3. Compiles and submits required program records and reports, including continuing education hours, test results, and attendance, in accordance with college, vendor, state, and national standards.
  4. Participates in assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation activities to enhance instructional quality and program effectiveness.
  5. Supports instructors by providing resources and ensuring compliance with regulatory and reporting requirements.
  6. Develops and maintains course outlines and instructional materials in collaboration with instructors for review and approval by Coordinator(s), ensuring alignment with compliance standards and program goals.
  7. Implements new instructional models and resources and provides instructor orientation as needed.
  8. Creates course packets and related instructional materials to support successful program delivery.
  9. Advises prospective and current students on program options, admissions, registration processes, and career opportunities.
  10. Conducts program orientations and student admissions interviews to ensure clear expectations and successful onboarding.
  11. Connects students with relevant college and community resources to support retention and program completion.
  12. Develops and distributes marketing materials to promote programs and maintain accurate community contact lists.
  13. Participates in recruitment and outreach activities, including career fairs, program events, orientations, graduations, and new instructor onboarding.
  14. Assists with the preparation and publication of class schedules three times per year.
  15. Manages inventory systems, equipment requests, and supply purchasing to ensure adequate classroom and lab resources.
  16. Utilizes the E Pro purchasing system to initiate, track, and support program purchasing needs.
  17. Assists in coordination of face‑to‑face for computer training. Prepares all supportive class documentation, including class notifications, contracts, roster, attendance sheet, and evaluations. Prepares classroom for instruction.
  18. Manages daily CDL program operations, including responding to inquiries, providing admissions and registration support, facilitating CDL orientations, maintaining CDL course schedules, and conducting student interviews as needed.
  19. Contributes to the College’s Vision, Mission, Values, and RISE statement through professional conduct and service excellence.
  20. Performs other related duties as assigned to support program and departmental needs.

Minimum Requirements (Applicant must meet all of the minimum requirements)

  1. Associate degree.

Salary or Hourly Pay Range (Salary is Non-Negotiable) $51,552 - $52,560

Total Compensation
Your total compensation goes beyond this maximum salary. Your A-B Tech benefits represent nearly 30% of your total compensation.
The total compensation for this position includes an 26.1% employer contribution to a defined pension plan, contributions towards medical and dental policies and fully funded life insurance / accidental death & dismemberment policy.
