Responsibilities

• Help keep the dining room clean, organized, and ready for guests.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout the kitchen, storage areas, and food service spaces.
• Follow safe food handling, hygiene, and sanitation practices.
• Clean, sanitize, and store dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain dishwashing equipment and treat with Delimer chemical twice a month.
• Clean and sanitize sinks, counters, carts, racks, and other food service equipment.
• Use cleaning tools and products appropriately to care for kitchen equipment.
• Keep supplies, cookware, dishes, and utensils organized and properly stored.
• Maintain beverage service equipment in a clean and sanitary condition.
• Assist with cleaning and maintaining refrigerators, freezers, and other cold storage areas.
• Help maintain clean work surfaces and floors throughout the day.
• Communicate with food service and supply vendors as needed.
• Other related duties as required.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist Kitchen Manager with food preparation and meal service
• Help keep the dining room clean, organized, and ready for guests
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout the kitchen, storage areas, and food service spaces
• Follow safe food handling, hygiene, and sanitation practices

• Helps maintain dishwashing equipment and treat with Delimer chemical twice a month

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Kitchen experience (required)
• Lead experience (preferred)

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Bilingual in Spanish (preferred)
• Availability to work weekends and additional hours during the holiday season as needed
• Ability to take initiative
• Able to maintain integrity and confidentiality
• Team player
• Able to meet and relate to the public

EQUIPMENT USED:

• Modern Office Equipment and Relevant Software

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. (usually file boxes)
• Relevant kitchen and janitorial equipment
