Job summary

Mercer County Head Start is seeking an Assistant Cook for the school year to support nutrition services in our classrooms and cafeterias. The role focuses on preparing meals that meet nutritional standards while maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and are expected to obtain Safe Serve Certification within one year of hire. A background check process per Ohio Dept. of Job and Family Service is required.
