Ebenezer Ridges Care Center offers a full continuum of care, including Transitional Care, Adult Day Programs, Intergenerational Child Care, Long Term Care, Enhanced Care, and Assisted Living/Memory Care. Located across from Fairview Ridges Hospital in Burnsville, MN, we are dedicated to helping our seniors lead longer, healthier, and more meaningful lives.

We are looking for an Assistant Cook to join our team! This role involves dining room meal service to residents and maintaining supplies in the kitchenettes of our Senior Living Community.

This position offers:

• 32 hours every two weeks
• Evening shifts
• Two weekday shifts and every other weekend
• Partial benefits including paid time off, retirement, college funds (see benefits link)
• Partial wages paid before payday with Early Wage Access

Responsibilities

• Food preparation, setup, serving, and delivery
• Handle and prepare food safely, following infection control and safety policies
• Sanitize equipment and work areas after use
• Assist with supervision of department staff
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old
• Ability to use technology (computers, handheld devices, cell phones, fax machines)
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word

Preferred Qualifications

• High-volume cooking experience in a similar environment
• One to three years related experience
• ServSafe certification
