ProAmpac in Walden, NY is seeking an entry-level production assistant to support machine operators, assist with material handling, packing, labeling, and quality checks. This full-time role offers growth into the Operator Trainee program with a clear path to a Converting Operator position at $25/hr.

Paid hours are 5am–1pm, with a $2,000 sign-on bonus, overtime opportunities, and a monthly production bonus. Benefits include 401(k) matching, medical, dental, and more.

Responsabilités

• Assist machine operators in operation, repair and maintenance of equipment
• Handle raw materials and finished products, including loading/unloading materials
• Pack finished products into boxes with proper labeling per standards
• Inspect products for defects and report issues to management
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow waste disposal protocols
• Adhere to safety guidelines to ensure a safe workplace
• Perform basic maintenance tasks and escalate issues to maintenance team
• Communicate effectively with team to ensure smooth production processes
• Maintain accurate production documentation as required
• Perform other duties as assigned

Pay: $19.50

Opportunity available for promotion into the Operator Trainee program. Once successfully completing the Operator Trainee program you will be promoted to a Converting Operator at $25/hr.

Position Overview

• Assists machine operators in the operation, repair and maintenance of equipment.
• Handle raw materials and finished products, including loading and unloading materials as required.
• Packing of finished products into boxes, ensuring proper packaging and labeling in accordance with company standards.
• Inspect products for defects and ensure they meet quality standard, reporting any product defects to management.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area. This includes regularly cleaning workstations, removing debris, and following established protocols for waste disposal.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment, reporting any issues to the maintenance team.
• Work cooperatively with other team members and communicate effectively to ensure seamless production processes.
• Maintain accurate production documentation as required.
• All other duties as assigned.
