ProAmpac is seeking a Machine Operator - Converting for our Holbrook, MA facility. The role involves safely setting up and operating converting machinery, monitoring production, and ensuring quality standards are met.

You will load materials, calibrate equipment, and work to meet production targets in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications include HS/GED, 2–4 years in a related field, and strong time-management and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Safely sets up, operates, and monitors converting machinery to meet production goals
• Completes machine setup for production runs, including loading materials and calibrating equipment
• Monitors production, inspects materials and equipment to ensure quality and quotas
• Tracks materials for inventory and work in progress
• Troubleshoots equipment and performs routine maintenance
• Trains new crew members and maintains housekeeping and safety standards
• Coordinates with other departments to address issues and ensure smooth production
• Completes required documentation for internal or external use

Rate: $21 USD per hour

ProAmpac is a leading global flexible packaging manufacturing company. Our Holbrook, MA facility is looking to add a Machine Operator - Converting to our team.

Shift: Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:00pm.

Essential Duties And Tasks

• Safley sets up, operates, and monitors converting machinery and equipment as intended and needed to meet customer and production goals.
• Completes converting machine setup for production runs, including loading materials, adjusting settings, and calibrating equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Monitors the production process, inspects and tests materials and equipment using safe and proper protocols, to ensure products meet quality standards and production quotas are met.
• Verifies and tracks all materials for inventory and work in progress regulations.
• Troubleshoots equipment malfunctions and perform routine maintenance tasks to keep machinery operating efficiently.
• Trains and provides guidance to machine assistants and new crew members.
• Keeps machinery and surrounding areas organized by meeting housekeeping, storage, staging, and cleanliness requirements.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, to prevent accidents or injuries. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by safety policies and reports any safety hazards or concerns to the appropriate team member.
• Completes all necessary documentation for internal or external use.
• Effectively works with other departments or team members, such as machine technicians, supervisors, and quality control inspectors, to coordinate production activities and address any potential issues as they arise.

Qualifications, Education, And Experience

• HS/GED required; HS/GED preferred
• 2-4 years' experience in a related field experience in a related field required.
• This position has no leadership duties.
• Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information.
• Exceptional time management and organization skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines.
• Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations) with executive leadership, staff, and internal and external clients.
• Proactive; exercises sound judgment and decision-making; able to identify problems and needs and develop solutions and/or options.
