Job summary

ProAmpac is seeking a production operator to set up and run converting bag machines on a 12-hour 2-2-3 shift schedule. You will read work orders, ensure correct materials and quality, and perform regular quality checks to catch issues early. You will also maintain equipment cleanliness, observe safety rules, and train new teammates as needed.

The role requires independent work ethic, strong troubleshooting, and physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Weekend/holiday overtime is expected.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and confidently in a fast-paced environment—someone who takes initiative and manages their own workflow effectively.
• Skilled in troubleshooting and problem-solving, with the ability to quickly assess issues and make sound decisions on the floor.
• Physically capable of standing, bending, walking, twisting, and lifting up to 50 lbs as part of daily work.
• Flexible team player willing to assist with additional tasks to support smooth plant operations.
• Prior machine operating experience is preferred, but not required.

• Wear required PPE at all times while on the production floor.
• Work overtime as needed, including weekends and holidays.

Schedule

12-Hour Shifts On A 2-2-3 Schedule Rotation

7PM-7AM (Must Be Able To Train On Day Shift For 2-4 Weeks)

$1.50/Hour Shift Differential For Hours Worked 3PM-7AM

What You Will Do
