Job summary

First Meridian is seeking an Assistant Controller to lead the accounting function across restaurant and airport operations at Denver International Airport. You will drive the monthly, quarterly, and annual close, consolidate multi-entity financials under US GAAP, and prepare clear, decision-useful financial statements for leadership.

You will also oversee the ERP migration from Microsoft Dynamics GP to Sage Intacct, mentor a team of 14 Staff Accountants and 2 Senior Accountants, and partner with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and CPA preferred.
• 10+ years in progressive accounting and corporate reporting.
• Experience leading accounting teams.
• Experience with multi-entity consolidations and intercompany eliminations.
• ERP implementation experience (GP to Sage Intacct) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close for partnerships and LLCs.
• Review reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and analyses.
• Translate financial results into concise commentary and present to senior management.
• Coordinate audits and internal controls documentation.
• Oversee ERP transition and data conversion.
