Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and prioritization skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Supervisory and time management skills.
• Ability to collaborate across teams to improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist the VP, Controller with GAAP reporting and documentation.
• Provide status of financial condition by collecting and reporting data.
• Develop and issue timely monthly financial records for management.
• Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, including testing.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors and provide explanations.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and deadlines.
• Prepare budgets by scheduling, collecting, and consolidating data.
• Lead initiatives to streamline financial reporting processes and systems.
• Collaborate with IT to maintain records and refine reporting tools.
• Ensure financial plans align with organizational goals.
