Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA preferred but not required
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Public accounting experience is a strong plus
• Experience owning month-end close and financial reporting
• Strong account reconciliation experience
• Cost accounting experience preferred
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience with ERP systems and reporting tools
• Experience with Syteline, Oracle, Power BI
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently in a high-visibility environment
• Excellent communication and business partnering abilities

Responsibilities

• Own the month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
• Maintain the integrity of the general ledger
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
• Support audits and compliance initiatives
• Lead cost accounting activities and analysis
• Analyze costs, variances, and profitability drivers
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and financial performance
• Support inventory and operational accounting activities
• Partner with leadership to improve decision-making through financial analysis
• Reconcile and resolve outstanding account reconciliation issues
• Strengthen accounting controls and financial processes
• Improve reporting efficiency and data quality
• Support system enhancements and automation initiatives
• Drive continuous improvement across accounting operations
