Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking an Assistant Controller in Indiana to manage month-end close, journal entries, and multi-entity accounting under mentorship from executive leadership.

The role provides direct exposure to financial reporting, intercompany activities, payroll accounting, and tax support, with a clear path to a future Controller position and long‑term career growth.

Formación

• 3-5 years of public accounting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
• Strong experience with accrual accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close
• Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software and advanced Excel skills

Responsabilidades

• Participate in month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy across multiple entities
• Perform account, bank, and balance sheet reconciliations while investigating variances
• Support monthly financial reporting and intercompany accounting activities
• Assist with tax workpapers, compliance documentation, and income tax accrual support
• Provide support for payroll accounting, benefits administration, banking, and related accounting functions
