Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is assisting a growing manufacturing organization in Allentown, PA, to recruit an Assistant Controller. This role offers broad exposure to leadership and a path toward a future Controller position, with responsibilities spanning month-end close, reporting, budgeting, and process improvement.

You will mentor accounting staff, ensure GAAP compliance, manage internal controls, and partner with operations to deliver actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience within manufacturing.
• Understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• CPA or CPA-track preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the month-end close process and preparation of financial statements.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.
• Maintain compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company accounting policies.
• Partner with operational leaders to provide reporting and business insights.
• Assist with audit coordination, account reconciliations, and process improvement initiatives.
• Supervise and develop accounting team members.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
