Job summary

An industry-leading distributor is seeking a hands-on Assistant Controller to manage financial operations and lead the close processes. The position requires a strong foundation in accounting, experience in a multi-entity environment, and advanced Excel skills. This role offers up to $165k all-in compensation and involves some travel to U.S. warehouse locations. Ideal candidates will be proactive in identifying process improvements. This is a full-time position located in Richboro, Pennsylvania.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience in a complex or multi-entity environment.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, reconciliations, and internal controls.
• Willingness to travel ~10% to various U.S. warehouse locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly and year-end close processes alongside staff accountants.
• Review and prepare journal entries and detailed account reconciliations.
• Analyze complex financial data to generate insights and operational reports.
• Support internal and external audits with documentation and controls review.
• Identify and implement process improvements across accounting functions.
