Job summary

Talentify, a progressive manufacturing company in Kansas City, is seeking an accounting professional to support analysis, reporting, and month-end activities under the Controller.

You will assist in month-end preparation, prepare internal reports, review shipments and inventory movements, monitor expenses, and help with payroll administration while maintaining strong internal controls and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (or related).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, team-building, written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ethical integrity with ability to maintain confidential information.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Assist in month-end preparation, analysis and reporting.
• Prepare internal business unit reports including review of daily shipments and product sales.
• Review daily inventory movements and payroll preparation.
• Monitor weekly and monthly expense reporting and reporting of capital and major repair projects.
• Prepare adhoc reports and variance analysis; report daily production and material usage.
