Job summary

Aktis Oncology, Inc. seeks an experienced Assistant Controller to manage accounting operations, close processes, and internal controls. You will report to the Senior Director, Controller, and partner with R&D teams to ensure proper accounting and disclosure.

The Boston-based, on-site/hybrid role requires CPA, 7–10 years of experience, GAAP and SOX knowledge, and a track record of process improvements in a growing biotech company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; CPA license highly preferred.
• 7–10 years of related experience in accounting/finance.
• Experience with GAAP and SOX controls; private/public company experience.
• Experience in biotech or life sciences is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee general ledger and ensure accurate recording of transactions.
• Lead monthly close, journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting.
