Qualifikationen

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree with CPA license and 7-10 years related experience.
• At least 3-5 years with life science companies.
• GAAP and SOX controls knowledge.
• Experience in both private and public company settings.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration with R&D teams.

Aufgaben

• Oversee general ledger and classify transactions.
• Lead monthly close, journal entries, reconciliations, and reports.
• Develop and maintain internal controls and SOX readiness.
• Develop scalable accounting policies for potential public reporting.
• Identify tech-driven improvements in financial processes.
• Collaborate with R&D leaders on priorities, contracts, and external relationships.
• Oversee R&D expense accrual and revenue recognition with FP&A.
• Partner with FP&A to ensure accurate financial information flow.
