Job summary

HighRes is seeking an Assistant Controller to lead month-end close, consolidation, and financial reporting within the Finance & Accounting team. You will drive technical accounting (ASC 606/842), internal controls, and multi-entity, multi-currency reporting, while guiding accounting staff and supporting the transition to Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).

You'll coordinate with external auditors, manage audits, and partner with FP&A, Operations, and Sales to enhance financial visibility and scalable

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and CPA is a plus.
5+ years of progressive accounting experience including public and private sectors.
Strong knowledge of US GAAP, full accounting cycle and month-end close.
Prior supervisory or team-leadership experience.
Experience with mid-market ERP; D365 experience or ERP implementation is a plus.

Responsibilities

Close, consolidation and reporting for monthly, quarterly, and annual periods.
Review journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals with supporting documentation.
Prepare consolidated financial statements including intercompany eliminations.
Maintain internal controls over financial reporting and support audits.
Lead accounting staff and drive process improvements and system modernization.
