Ledgent Finance & Accounting in Georgia seeks an experienced Assistant Controller to lead the accounting function, oversee financial reporting, and support growth with strong internal controls.

You will manage monthly close, review journals, prepare statements, coordinate audits, and partner with operations to drive sound financial decisions. This supervisory role requires CPA and 5+ years of progressive accounting leadership.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA designation strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• GAAP, internal controls, and month-end close expertise.
• Experience leading accounting staff.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Review journal entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare financial statements and management reports.
• Coordinate external audits and ensure documentation.
• Improve internal controls and accounting policies.
• Partner with operations to support financial decisions.
• Lead accounting staff and mentor team.
