Job summary

Blueprint Technologies, LLC. is seeking an Assistant Controller to support the financial health of our business and lead an accounting team focused on accuracy and excellent service.

You will manage daily accounting operations, close processes, and provide GAAP-compliant reporting to support business decisions. The role requires at least five years of accounting experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and hands-on collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
• At least five years of progressive accounting experience with close activities or supervisory work.
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial statement prep, journal entries, and internal controls.
• Experience with AR, AP, billing, and payroll accounting.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft 365.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll accounting, and general ledger activities.
• Coordinate the monthly close, prepare and review journal entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and schedules applying U.S. GAAP.
• Review results, investigate discrepancies, and explain variances.
• Oversee client billing, collections, vendor payments, and payroll processing.
• Support revenue recognition and project accounting, reviewing contract terms and costs.
