Advanced Medaesthetic Partners is seeking a highly motivated Assistant Controller to join our finance team. You will support financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard assets.

You will oversee general ledger activities, perform variance analysis, and assist with audits and tax compliance, working across departments in a hybrid/remote work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in public and operational accounting.
• Healthcare multi-state, multi-site experience is a plus.
• CPA certification is a plus.
• GAAP, financial reporting, variance analysis, and core accounting functions.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting: Assist in preparation and analysis of financial statements.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Internal Controls: Maintain internal control procedures.
• General Ledger Management: Oversee journal entries, reconciliations, month-end close.
• Variance Analysis: Analyze variances and report to management.
• Audit Support: Assist with external audits and inquiries.
• Tax Compliance: Support tax return preparation and coordination with tax advisors.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve financial operations.
