Job summary

Lindsay Precast — Corporate in Chicago, IL seeks an Assistant Controller to oversee the corporate accounting function, including the monthly close, financial reporting, and consolidation.

You will lead the accounting staff, coordinate with the Controller on audits and tax filings, and establish solid internal controls and standardized processes in line with U.S. GAAP. Manufacturing background preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including management.
• Manufacturing industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Excellent experience with Microsoft products.

Responsibilities

• Review and post journal entries.
• Oversee the month-end close process.
• Prepare financial statements and consolidate results.
• Coordinate annual financial audit and tax filings.
• Establish internal controls and standardized accounting processes.
• Manage corporate accounting staff and SOPs.
