Job summary

Aramark is seeking an Assistant Controller to support the Accounting department, assisting operating units with forecasting, budgeting, labor and inventory controls, and performance analysis.

The role involves managing daily sales reporting, overseeing AP processes, and administering partner royalty payments. Compensation ranges from $65,000 to $75,000, with benefits and professional growth opportunities. This position is based in Washington DC.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in income auditing and accounts payable functions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Excel, with the ability to effectively utilize both applications in a professional environment.
• Strong data entry and keyboarding skills, including a typing speed of approximately 50 words per minute and experience using a 10-key keypad.
• Demonstrated planning, organizational, and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage and reconcile daily sales reporting across multiple business systems to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Prepare and distribute daily sales reports to client stakeholders and internal management teams.
• Calculate and administer partner royalty program payments in accordance with established guidelines and procedures.
• Generate and maintain client-required sales and performance reports.
• Track and report round-up donations.
• Oversee accounts payable processes and support adherence to established financial procedures and controls.
