Job summary

Hayden Industrial, a leading manufacturer of industrial cooling systems, is seeking an Assistant Controller to manage accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls. The role ensures accuracy and compliance while guiding the accounting team.

Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, maintaining controls, overseeing the general ledger, and supporting audits. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree, 7+ years of experience, and strong US GAAP knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting or related field.
• 7+ years of accounting experience with leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel; ERP experience (Glovia) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Maintain and enforce internal controls for regulatory and policy compliance.
• Oversee general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Assist with audits and coordinate required documentation.
• Monitor cash flow and tax compliance; supervise accounting staff.
• Identify process improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with other departments on financial reporting and matters.
• Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
