Hayden Industrial, a leading manufacturer of industrial cooling systems, seeks a Cost Accountant to analyze, monitor, and control costs, ensuring accuracy and compliance in financial processes. The role prepares cost reports, tracks production expenses, identifies cost-saving opportunities, updates standard costs, and ensures accurate inventory valuation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
• 2+ years of cost accounting experience.
• Experience in cost accounting, manufacturing accounting, or financial analysis.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; ERP experience (Glovia) is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing, operation, and overhead costs.
• Prepare and maintain cost accounting reports.
• Monitor inventory transactions and perform inventory reconciliations.
• Calculate standard costs and investigate variances.
• Develop and maintain cost accounting system and procedures.
• Conduct profitability and cost-benefit analysis.
• Review production costs and recommend cost reduction strategies.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Collaborate with production, procurement, project management, and finance teams to improve cost efficiency.
