Ladders is partnering with a leader in the healthcare space to hire an Assistant Controller (CPA) who will oversee core accounting operations and ensure timely financial reporting across month-, quarter-, and year-end closes.

The role will collaborate with FP&A, executive leadership, external auditors, and cross-functional teams to strengthen controls, drive process automation, ERP transitions, and accounting support for mergers and acquisitions in a remote environment.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• CPA certification is required.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally from Big 4 or large regional firms.
• Healthcare experience or health-tech exposure is preferred.
• Deep understanding of U.S. GAAP and SOX 404 compliance.
• Experience leading remote accounting teams.
• Strong communication skills with executive leadership and external auditors.

For our client, we are seeking a Assistant Controller (CPA) to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space.

This role will oversee core accounting operations and help ensure accurate, timely financial reporting across month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close cycles. The position will partner closely with FP&A, executive leadership, external auditors, and cross-functional stakeholders to strengthen controls, improve reporting, and support strategic initiatives. It will also play a key role in process automation, ERP transition planning, and accounting support for mergers and acquisitions within a remote environment.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $150,000 - $175,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Direct month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close routines for accurate financial statements
• Oversee journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Partner with FP&A on budget-to-actual variance analyses and operational reporting
• Lead financial integration for mergers and acquisitions to ensure accounting alignment
