Job summary

thyssenkrupp Supply Chain Services in the United States seeks a senior finance leader to oversee budgeting, planning, and reporting functions, ensuring IFRS/GAAP compliance across divisions. The role requires directing financial planning, monitoring results, and implementing strong internal controls with input from Operational Leadership.

The candidate will prepare financial outlooks and forecasts, analyze trends, and present updates to senior management while coordinating audits and compliance

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting and cost control principles.
  • Knowledge of IFRS and GAAP.
  • Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems.
  • Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations.
  • Ability to analyze financial data, explain variances and prepare reports.
  • Experience with short- and long-term budgeting and forecasting.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and coordinate divisional financial planning and budget management.
  • Recommend benchmarks for measuring financial and operating performance.
  • Monitor monthly operating results against budgets and forecasts.
  • Develop and enforce internal controls to protect assets and ensure accuracy.
  • Manage preparation of financial reports, outlooks and forecasts with leadership.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and insights for decision-making.
  • Provide comprehensive financial updates to senior managers with relevant data points.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal reporting requirements.
  • Establish and implement short- and long-range financial goals and procedures.
  • Support audits and propose procedural improvements.

Job SummaryProvide leadership and coordination of company financial planning, financial reporting, and budget management functions.
