Job summary

Market America, Inc. is seeking an experienced Assistant Controller to manage daily, monthly, and quarterly accounting functions for corporate and branch locations. You will prepare consolidated financial packages and oversee month-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, 3–5 years of accounting experience, and preferred CPA certification. Experience with multi-currency and supervisory duties is expected.

Responsibilities

• Prepares monthly consolidated financial package for executive management.
• Performs month end closing procedures and analyzes balance sheet accounts for accuracy.
• Monitors cash balances and reconciles bank accounts.
• Supervises personnel to meet expectations and assists with hiring and evaluations.
• Coordinates with external accountants for timely governmental filings.
• Directs communication with foreign branch locations to support daily and monthly operations.
• Identifies process improvements to drive operational efficiency.
• Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Works on special projects as needed.
