Job summary

TalentBridge is seeking an Assistant Controller in Trussville, AL for a fully onsite role. You will manage day-to-day GL, fixed assets, CapEx, and financial reporting, partnering with executives to drive strategic decisions.

The ideal candidate has progressive accounting experience, strong technical skills, and the ability to communicate financial insights to leadership, with potential to grow into broader accounting leadership.

Qualifications

• Progressive accounting experience, ideally as Senior Accountant, Accounting Supervisor, or Assistant Controller.
• Hands-on fixed asset accounting and CapEx experience.
• Strong general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day general ledger activities, including journal entries and month-end close.
• Oversee fixed asset accounting, depreciation, tracking, disposals, and reconciliations.
• Analyze CapEx and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare financial statements, management reports, and schedules.
• Present financial results and insights to executive leadership.
