Job summary

Park Aerospace is seeking an Assistant Controller/Plant Controller to support month-end close, accounting, and financial reporting across the organization. The role involves overseeing AP/AR, payroll, and GL processes, and driving systems and procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP and Park policies.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Accounting or Finance, 5+ years in accounting (preferably in aerospace manufacturing), and strong Excel/ERP proficiency.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Five or more years of progressive responsibility in accounting, preferably in aerospace manufacturing.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, if needed.
• Experience with cost accounting and inventory accounting in manufacturing.
• CPA or CMA certification preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Corporate Controller in daily banking requirements.
• Assist with clean and timely audits and consolidated internal reporting schedules.
• Prepare and review account reconciliations for the entire organization.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
• Collaborate with manufacturing operations to review variances and maintain Bills of Materials.
