Job summary

Quikrete Holdings Inc. is seeking an Assistant Controller to drive accurate financial reporting and streamline plant-level accounting across the organization. You will partner with operations to control job costing, improve processes, and support month-end close.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, multi-site manufacturing experience, strong Excel skills, and clear communication. You'll join a team committed to continuous improvement and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Accounting of job cost activity for multiple business units in six states.
• Provide and implement solutions for improvements in accounting and operational processes.
• Work with operational management to address concerns such as waste and production inefficiencies.
• Regular posting of production information.
• Other expense postings such as consumption of materials and job cost adjustments.
• Monthly review/adjustments of construction job costing.
• Some reconciliations such as revenue recognition to ledger balances.
• Other assignments and projects as needed.

We are looking for a Assistant Controller to join our team. The Assistant Controller will be responsible for driving continued strategic growth across our Plant organizations, contributing to the success of the finance team with solid accounting skills, experience in problem solving, attention to detail, and drive for accuracy.
