Responsibilities
  • Implements financial policies and procedures as determined by management for areas including, but not limited to, general ledger, financial statements, workpapers, and accounts receivable.
  • Prepares and supports journal entries for all non‑system entries.
  • Participates in the completion of the Month End Close Checklist for all assigned action items to ensure that the state meets all corporate timelines.
  • Maintains appropriate internal control safeguards over accounting functions.
  • Provides support to department managers, administration, and physicians in the preparation, understanding, and use of financial information.
  • Prepares the monthly reporting package and draft of the Management Discussion & Analysis document.
  • Analyzes all financial results and summarizes findings with recommendations when appropriate.
  • Supervises clerical staff as assigned.
  • Reviews payroll data and other analysis prepared by staff.
  • Performs EOB analysis as requested.
  • Reconciles all bank and intercompany accounts.
  • Performs other reasonably related duties as assigned.
Salary Level

$130,000-$180,000 annually

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum eight years of experience in fiscal management.
  • Three years of public accounting experience preferred.
  • Healthcare experience preferred.
  • CPA preferred.
Physical Demands
  • Requires sitting for long periods of time.
  • Some bending and stretching required.
  • Adequate finger dexterity and feeling to perform keyboarding and repetitive motions involving the wrists, hands, and fingers.
  • Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
  • Must be able to view computer screen and printed material accurately.
  • Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 40 lbs.
