Pilgrim in Pipestone, MN is hiring an Assistant Controller to oversee cost analysis, P&L reporting, and budgeting. This salaried role collaborates with plant management to implement efficiency improvements and ensure accurate month-end close.

Responsibilities include inventory management, yield reporting, asset accounting, and supporting annual budgeting efforts. Travel may be required to other facilities or events as needed.

Competenze

• BA/BS Degree in business or related field preferred.
• Proficient in 10-key and MS Excel.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Understanding of operation processes.

• Previous experience in industry and/or similar manufacturing setting preferred but not required.

• Compile & track information regarding expense & costs associated with operation of facility.
• Work closely with plant management and staff to continually drive the recommended cost reductions into the P&L reporting.
• Assist the Plant Controller in preparing annual budget.
• Assist the Plant Controller with Fixed Asset accounting functions.
• Attend meetings as scheduled; discuss plant expenses, evaluate costs and detail plans for expense reductions.
• Work with the Plant Management on special projects as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.

Assistant Controller

$70,000-90,000 potential salary earnings

Primarily Days - (M-F & Saturdays as needed)

Hours:

• Day shift position, flexible as required
• Saturday as required or needed
• Ability to work different shifts & schedules, as needed

Job Description:
