Ad Atlantic is seeking a controller-track finance professional for a six-month W2 contract based in Parsippany, NJ. The role supports the North America controllership function during a period of transformation and ERP implementation.

You will own execution and issue resolution across a broad controllership scope, including US/Canadian statutory reporting, intercompany transactions, and treasury/capital activities. Hybrid work with three days in the office.

Our client, a pharmaceutical listed business, is currently going through a significant period of transformation across its North American finance function. This six-month contract role sits alongside the Finance Controller, North America, supporting the build and day-to-day running of the controllership function through that process.

This is a hands‑on role, owning execution and first‑line issue resolution across a broad controllership scope: preparing statutory financial statements for the US and Canadian entities and supporting audit requests, managing intercompany transactions and royalty cross‑charges end to end, and supporting treasury and capital activity including supply chain financing, escheatment of unclaimed checks, the corporate card program, and lease and capex processes. The role also covers procure‑to‑pay escalations and manual payments, liaison with the tax function on forecast data, and acting as the day‑to‑day point of contact for the global shared services team. You will work alongside the Controller, shared services, tax, treasury and the business as new finance infrastructure and a new ERP are put in place.

The right person will be a controller‑track finance professional with a mix of public accounting (Big 4 or similar) and industry experience, and a solid working knowledge of US GAAP. Exposure to statutory reporting for US and/or Canadian entities is preferred, as is ERP experience with SAP. Prior involvement in a separation, transition services arrangement, shared services model or similar period of change is helpful but not essential. Above all, you will be comfortable working across a varied scope and managing multiple workstreams in an environment where processes are being built rather than simply followed.

The role is a six‑month W2 contract based in Parsippany, NJ, on a hybrid basis with three days a week in the office. This role offers an hourly rate between $100-110.
