Responsibilities:

• Manage closing activities at month-, quarter-, and year-end, reviewing entries and reconciliations for timely reporting.
• Streamline close and reporting procedures by identifying gaps and implementing more efficient workflows.
• Lead and coach junior team members, offering support on technical tasks and professional development.
• Analyze financial trends and variances to guide operational strategy and improve cost effectiveness.
• Support internal control testing and documentation to meet financial compliance and SOX standards.
• Coordinate with auditors by organizing requested materials and addressing follow-up questions during reviews.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• 7+ years of accounting experience including experience at a national public accounting firm
• Strong SOX controls and US GAAP knowledge
• Experience mentoring and managing teams
• CPA license highly desired
