We are partnering with a growing client in College Station in their search for an Assistant Controller. This is consulting opportunity with potential to convert to full time in the future. This position will be remote based, but would require travel to the College Station area 1-2 days a month.

Responsibilities

• Support and manage the month-end close process across multiple entities/locations
• Prepare consolidated financial reports
• Review and analyze P&Ls and performing variance analysis
• Manage the general ledger activity, account reconciliations, accruals and bank reconciliations
• Assist with weekly cash flow forecasting, and vendor payments

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or relevant field
• 5+ years progressive experience in accounting
• Strong technical, analytical, communication and presentation skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
• Restaurant 365 experience a plus, but not required
