Base pay range

$120,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr

Our client is a real estate firm. They seek an Assistant Controller to join their Los Angeles, CA office. This opportunity offers a hybrid work schedule and competitive salary and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Report to the VP of Finance and support the preparation of budgets and forecasts
• Responsible for monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages
• Complete and review fund-level and project-level models and business plans
• Support system integration and investor reporting to institutional and HNW investors
• Assist with maintaining capital market relationships with senior lenders
• Oversee all cash management and corporate-level treasury services
• Work with third-party accounting teams, tax consultants, and outside auditors
• Assist with all aspects of operations including insurance, HR, and benefits matters

Requirements

• 5-8 years of accounting experience
• Strong technical accounting/GAAP knowledge
• Organized with keen attention to detail
• A self-starter with high ethical standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Skilled in Excel and Yardi
• CPA preferred
