Job summary

LeoForce seeks a Senior Accountant to manage journal entries, reconciliations, and the preparation of monthly consolidated statements for the corporation and its subsidiaries. You will help implement new ERP software and train team members, ensuring GAAP compliance and accuracy of vendor invoices.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in accounting, strong MS Office skills, and experience with manufacturing accounting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems (Epicor CMS a plus).
• Knowledgeable in US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Meticulous with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Post journal entries and assist in the preparation of monthly consolidated financial statements for the corporation and its subsidiaries.
• Prepare account reconciliations to ensure general ledger accuracy and make corrections if necessary.
• Actively participate in the implementation of new accounting and ERP software and train members of the accounting team.
• Review internal accounting policies and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Recognize and resolve accounting and customer collections issues.
• Ensure accuracy of vendor invoices and appropriate payment per terms.
• Assist members of the accounting department in resolving errors.
• Analyze monthly operating results in comparison to budget, identify and explain variances.
• Coordinate with external auditors to ensure the timely completion of audits and annual review.
• Responsible for all required financial, governmental, and tax reports.
• Other special projects as requested by the Corporate Controller.
