Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and develop the Accounts Receivable, and Billing teams, ensuring clear goals, performance feedback, and growth opportunities.
Foster a collaborative, service-oriented environment that aligns with the company’s values and growth objectives.
Oversee daily operations of AR, and Billing to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant transaction processing.
Monitor workload distribution, set priorities, and manage deadlines for the team.
Serve as an escalation point for complex issues, resolving them effectively and professionally.
Document existing processes and workflows for AR, and Billing, ensuring clarity, consistency, and training readiness.
Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and scalability, implementing solutions that enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Partner with IT and other departments to streamline transaction processing systems and reporting.
Ensure adherence to company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
Maintain and enhance internal controls over transaction processing, including approval workflows and segregation of duties.
Support month-end close including WIP schedules, accrual and deferral entries, revenue recognition and profitability review.
Assist with bank reconciliations.

Position Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
5+ years of progressive accounting experience with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role.
Demonstrated focus on team development and process optimization.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, internal controls, and transaction processing best practices.
Proven track record in process improvement and documentation.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
Proficiency in accounting/ERP systems (experience with Sage Intacct preferred) and advanced Excel skills.
