Job summary

NextStep Recruiting is assisting a $400M+ revenue, privately held services organization in North Ft. Worth, TX to hire an experienced Senior Accounting Manager or Assistant Controller.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in accounting (CPA a big plus), experience with labor costing, project and payroll accounting, audits, and staff development; ERP familiarity with NetSuite, Workday or MS Dynamics. The role is hybrid in North Ft.

Qualifications

• BS in accounting or related field required; CPA preferred.
• Experience in large, national, multi-location environments with high hourly labor costs.
• Experience with labor costing, project accounting and payroll accounting.
• ERP experience with NetSuite, Workday or MS Dynamics; advanced Excel.
• Audits and audit liaison experience; public accounting a plus.

Assistant Controller. NextStep Recruiting is working with a $400M plus revenue, privately held services organization in the N. Ft. Worth, TX market that is looking to hire an experienced Sr. Accounting Manager or Assistant Controller for their growing accounting team. Candidates should have the following experience and credentials:

• A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) a big plus
• Experience in a large, national, multi-location industry with high hourly labor costs such as construction, retail, services, hospitality, restaurants, etc. is a big plus
• Experience with labor costing, project accounting, payroll accounting, labor-related reporting, a big plus
• Strong experience with ERP's such as NetSuite, Workday, MS Dynamics, etc. Advanced Excel
• Experience with audits and audit liaison work. Public accounting experience a plus
• Strong communication skills and developing staff

Our client is urgent to hire. Base salary can be negotiable depending on experience, with a target salary range initially identified in the $145k - $170k base salary range plus 20% annual bonus potential. This role is hybrid in the N. Ft. Worth area, so a commute to N. Ft. Worth must be desirable.
