Job summary

Synergy Search is seeking an Assistant Controller to support the build-out of a centralized shared services office in the DFW area, overseeing day-to-day accounting operations for a portfolio of locations.

You will assist with month-end close, review work, ensure GAAP compliance, and contribute to process improvements as the function centralizes.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, multi-site/portfolio exposure a plus.
• Supervisory or review experience preferred.
• Strong GAAP knowledge; CPA qualification is a plus.

• Assist with reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analysis.

What We're Looking For

• Some supervisory or review experience
• Strong GAAP knowledge; CPA a plus
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment
