Hurry up! We’ve got a dream to build!

Full-time, Boston, MA or Remote (US)

BlueConic is the leading Customer Growth Engine, helping brands turn first-party data into meaningful growth. Our AI-powered platform provides teams with the intelligence, real-time activation, and lifecycle optimization capabilities needed to grow faster, retain more customers, and future-proof their business.

We’re not just solving legacy CDP challenges. We’re powering the future of customer growth—built for the agentic age, where real-time data, decisioning, and multi-agent execution unlock what’s next. With more than 500 brands on board and teams worldwide, we enable companies to drive real business outcomes from their data.

The accounting team plays a critical role in our fast-moving business. In this role, you will lead a team of accounting and finance professionals across multiple countries and play a hands-on role in evolving our financial processes to support our next stage of growth. Your expertise with NetSuite and familiarity with international accounting practices, especially in the Netherlands, will be instrumental as we scale our global operations. You will also identify and leverage AI-powered tools to streamline processes, reduce manual workloads, and improve decision-making across finance functions.

In this role, you will:
  1. Lead Financial Reporting: Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings, ensuring accurate and timely GAAP-compliant reporting.
  2. Technical Accounting: Research and apply technical accounting standards to complex business transactions (e.g., revenue recognition, lease accounting, equity accounting, and business combinations). Serve as the internal expert for interpreting and implementing new accounting standards (ASC updates, SEC reporting guidance, etc.).
  3. Team Leadership: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and automation within the accounting function.
  4. General Ledger and Month-End Close: Manage NetSuite for financial and operational reporting, process automation, and compliance. Handle journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analyses.
  5. Audit & Compliance: Coordinate annual audits and ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and tax regulations.
  6. Cash Management: Support treasury functions, including cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, and currency risk management.
  7. Tax Compliance: Oversee the preparation and filing of federal, state, and international tax filings in coordination with external advisors; ensure compliance with evolving tax regulations across jurisdictions.
  8. International Accounting: Collaborate with our Netherlands-based finance team to ensure compliance with local standards and tax laws.
  9. Process Improvement: Streamline and scale accounting operations, policies, and systems using automation and AI technologies to increase accuracy, speed, and efficiency.
Skills and Experience:
  • CPA designation is strongly preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership in SaaS or tech companies.
  • Hands-on experience with NetSuite is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Dutch/Netherlands GAAP and tax frameworks is a significant advantage.
  • Experience managing multi-entity consolidations and intercompany transactions.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP; IFRS knowledge is a plus.
  • Proven leadership in teams, audits, and cross-functional work.
  • Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
Preferred Experience:
  • Public accounting background (Big 4 or regional firms).
  • Experience in SaaS and multi-entity/global organizations.
  • Knowledge of standards relevant to SaaS companies.
Reasons to Join Us:
  • Help build and support a leading martech product.
  • Opportunities for career growth.
  • Empower major brands to achieve marketing goals.
  • Be part of a growing, remote-first team across multiple countries.
  • Work in a values-driven, inclusive environment fostering growth and diversity.
